Open Mic Poetry In-Person
Join us for a poetry reading with Diane Bliss followed by open mic!
Diane Bliss is professor emerita of SUNY Orange in Middletown, NY. Most recently, her poems appeared in The Orchards Poetry Journal (2023), Blueline (2025, 2023, 2021) and the anthologies Seeing Things 2 (Woodland Arts Editions, 2024), Seeing Things (Woodland Arts Editions, 2020), and Voices from Here 2 (Paulinskill Poetry Project, 2017). This year, Diane won an honorable mention in the Allen Ginsberg Poetry Prize. She is an avid birder and observer of nature and human nature. She holds degrees from SUNY College of ESF, Hartwick College and Binghamton University. She resides in Middletown, NY.
