Please join us as we read and discuss Orris and Timble: The Beginning written by Kate DiCamillo illustrated by Carmen Mok
Saturday, November 1, 2025, 2:00pm - 3:00 pm in the Storytime Room
Open to students ages 5-7.
We will read and discuss the book together and do a small craft activity.
Registration is required.
From the publisher: Orris the rat lives alone in an old barn surrounded by his treasures, until the day his solitude is disrupted by a sudden flutter of wings and a loud screech. A small owl has gotten caught in a trap in the barn. Can Orris “make the good and noble choice” (as the king on his prized sardine can might recommend) and rescue the owl, despite the fact that owls and rats are natural enemies? And if he does, will he be ready for the consequences?
*Please note: This program is not a drop off program. Parents/guardians must remain in the building until the program concludes.*
*Due to the high demand of library programs, please arrive on time. Otherwise, after ten minutes, your seat will be given away to the next patron.*
